The interview questions were pretty basic, which made me wonder if they really knew how to find good people for their software team, though I'm sure they do. No technical problems were presented, no LeetCode, no chance to show off my technical skills. I made it all the way to the last round and even had a good talk with a lead developer. Things looked good, so I figured I'd hear back within a month like they said. A month and a half later, I still hadn't heard anything. I tried contacting the recruiter I'd been working with throughout the interviews, but I never got a response from the company or them. I thought that was pretty weirdly unprofessional for a big company, but I guess the tech job market is like this everywhere now, so it's probably easy to get away with stuff like that when everyone else is doing it.

It was an on-campus hiring process for internships. First, they shortlisted candidates based on resume and CGPA. Then, there was Round 1, a 24-hour hackathon where we had to develop a solution for a given problem statement, making it platform-independent. After that, there was a demonstration of the project from Round 1, which was also a technical round. They grilled us on the project and the tech stack used, going into system design details based on our solution. They also asked technical questions about the tech we used. Round 2 was a technical and HR interview, a one-on-one session where they discussed our role in the project and asked questions from OOPS, DBMS, and DSA, ranging from easy to moderate. I got selected and got the internship opportunity at NT.

I applied thru career fair and got a phone screening call with a recruiter. Then there was one technical assessment on the phone with a senior developer. After doing well in these first parts, I was invited for a 4-hour onsite interview, which included 3 hours of technical questions and 1 hour of behavioral questions. I think I did pretty well except for one technical part. After the interviews, I contacted the recruitment coordinator a lot but got no answer. Then, suddenly after a month and a half, the recruiter told me they couldn't sponsor me, which was surprising because I had mentioned needing sponsorship after a few years during the initial phone screening since I'm on a student visa.
