The whole process took forever. I didn't hear back for about a month after applying, and then it was another month until they set up an in person interview. They ended up interviewing me for a different job than I applied for. The interview itself went okay, but the managers didn't seem to have read my resume. They were upfront about the long hours (80+ a week) and how boring the job was, which I appreciated, but it made me not want the job. They didn't make an offer for another 3 months, and by then I had already taken another job.

For this temporary position at Northern, which could turn into a full-time role after six months, there was just one face-to-face interview. I spoke with the manager and his assistant for about 30-40 minutes. They mostly asked behavioral questions, like about my strengths and weaknesses. They also asked about my time management skills, how I handle stress, and my future career goals in 3-5 years. Since the role is in the alternative investment department, they only asked one finance-related question: if I knew about alternative investments. They were looking for someone who works hard and has good time management.

Applied for a role, but ended up interviewing for an Operations Analyst position. The first interview had 3 people: the Sr VP, a VP, and an HR rep. It was pretty standard, though the manager seemed a bit reluctant to be there. They said I'd have a second interview in two weeks and would be contacted. I heard nothing for a month, even after sending follow-ups. Finally, they called and offered me the job, saying no second interview was needed.
