It was a phone interview, pretty laid back and had easy, straightforward questions. I talked to both the manager and assistant manager, so it's good to know who you're talking to and know your resume.

I applied online for a cardiology floor position as a new grad RN. HR contacted me within a week or two to schedule an interview. The first part was with an HR recruiter who asked about 20 questions, which I was prepared for. She said they'd like to hire me and sent me to the hospital for the second interview. Because the floor manager was called in for the overnight shift, I was interviewed by the clinical educator. She gave me a short tour of the busy floor, and everyone seemed nice. After the tour, I was essentially told I had the job. Two days later, HR called with an offer, which I accepted. A post-offer drug screen was required, and results took two days. I started orientation the following Monday, which they did a great job with.
