Then, a 15-minute presentation about your project will be followed by some questions, and you'll be interviewed by the professor along with their lab members. The interviewers will mainly consist of the post-doc and current PhD students in the group.

For a PhD student position, the main thing is having a good recommendation. I got mine from my former advisor which helped me get the position. If you are an international student, you will need GRE and TOEFL scores. You also need to submit 2 letters of recommendation and a Statement of Purpose (SOP). Having a high GRE score is also helpful if you want to get a TA or RA position.
