I had one remote interview that felt a bit rushed. It was pretty straightforward with expected questions, and the interviewers were nice. The issue was that I was ghosted afterward. While I understand if I wasn't the right fit, not responding to thank you emails is unprofessional. Candidates should at least get a response from the interviewer about their application status.

Behavioral Presentation

I was contacted for an interview where I met with the two people I'd be working with most. One asked hypothetical questions, the other about my experience. Then, I had a second round where I presented to about 15 colleagues on the subject matter and tried to get them to do business with us. It was tough, but I knew some people there already from informational interviews. Next, I had a third 1:1 with the director. They seemed intimidating but really just wanted to know me and see if I was up for the job, as my experience was transferable but not exact. This led to salary negotiation and a verbal agreement, pending paperwork. A call confirmed the offer, and I got a written offer before quitting my other job.

We had a phone call, then a group interview, then a 1:1 interview with supervisors, and then a SKYPE interview. They didn't pay for travel.
