First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at North Gate.
Account Coordinator
They were super friendly and seemed really keen to interview me. They gave me a call to set up the interview and then emailed over the job description. I replied with my availability. The first interview was pretty standard, with questions like 'tell me about yourself,' 'strengths/weaknesses,' 'motivation,' and 'why Northgate.' The interviewer also asked where I saw myself in 5 months, which was a bit unusual. After that, I got invited to a second round. This one felt less like an interview and more like a discussion about the job details, including pay and duties. I got to ask my questions and chat with the hiring manager. He mentioned they'd need to do a background check before making an offer. It's been about four days since then, and I'm still waiting to hear back.

Account Coordinator
The informational interview gave me a good feel for the vibe and the culture. It’s a young, fun company looking for entry-level employees to train and develop their marketing/sales consulting teams. Hands-on paid training was definitely a plus coming out of college. I related well to the managers and to the employees that helped me through the interview process. I appreciated the help in the lobby too; the girl was super sweet and talkative and played good music.
- Do you prefer working collaboratively in a team or individually?
- Are you someone who prefers working at a desk or being out in the field?
Account Coordinator
I applied online and heard back for an interview within a couple of days. The whole process had three steps and was wrapped up in about a week. The managers were chill and made me feel at ease, and same for the account manager I talked to. They were straightforward with their answers and addressed everything I asked!
- What attributes do you seek in a company?
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
- How crucial is in-person marketing for customer engagement?
