Had a one-on-one chat with an ITRE person. It was pretty standard, like asking 'tell me about yourself'. They were nice and took notes on my resume. The vibe was chill and conversational.

Behavioral Presentation

First, you submit your application with your name, GPA, availability, essays, and recommendation letters. Then, a committee screens the applications to pick candidates based on academics, leadership, and values. If you're shortlisted, you'll get an interview to talk about your leadership experience, why you want to join, and what you can bring to the team. They might also ask how your values match theirs. Finally, they decide and let you know if you're accepted and what the next steps are.

I had two phone interviews back to back, with a 15-minute break in between. Each interview was 45 minutes long. The first interviewer asked about my projects, then we discussed storage and filesystems, and I was given a coding question. In the second interview, I was asked about OOP concepts, basic OS and network questions, another coding question, and finally an object-oriented design question. I interviewed on Monday and got an offer on Friday.
