It was a quick interview process. Since I was a summer intern, I basically had an offer before I graduated. About a month before graduation, my manager at NAL told me he mailed me a contract, which I accepted in March 1999.

I talked to the top manager and they were super knowledgeable. They hit me with a bunch of regular questions and then threw in some really deep technical ones. They also wanted to see how I'd vibe with the existing crew.

I applied for a summer job (which I declined) and an Eng interview (which I accepted). It started with an HR call, then I got emailed twice about details. Another HR call followed. Then I had a Teams meeting with the supervisor IE. I waited to graduate for 3 months. After that, HR called about the new Supervisor IE, Kenneth. I requested a tour of the location. I had a Teams call with Kenneth and then a tour with a local IE, who didn't even know I was hired. I sent over 5 emails to HR about how to handle the paperwork, as this was my first time dealing with healthcare and a relocation fund.
