Almost 3 months of interviews, with weeks in between without response from the company. It matches other reviews here: several interviews that lead to nothing. First interview normal to get to know the candidate, all good, they will schedule a technical one. No contact for 20 days, I reach out. They schedule a technical interview for 2 weeks later. I did the technical interview, a few more days for them to tell me I was approved. Another two weeks with no communication. They schedule a meeting to talk about the client, I sign an NDA. In the meeting, I am told the client will contact me. Another two weeks pass, I reach out. I am told that the client has already closed with another candidate. Yeah right, after weeks of intervals stopping my process. Not communicating with a candidate who was approved in the interviews and should wait for a contact that will never arrive is very disrespectful.

The selection process was very long and demanding for the salary offered, which is well below the international remote market average, and inefficient. I went through a screening stage, then a technical interview with a consultant who asked me technical questions for about 1h-1h15 covering all sorts of topics. After that, I had a project to build an API with "production ready" requirements. This means you end up spending way more time on implementing logging, unit and integration tests, documentation, etc., than on the solution itself. Only then did I get to a preparatory stage where I could finally learn about the client (who, by the way, had many complaints on Glassdoor from devs about a toxic environment and disorganized processes). From there, I was expecting two more interviews with the client. Between each stage, there were several days of waiting, and there were some mix-ups from Nearsure regarding which stage I was in, what test I had to do, dates, etc. During one of these intervals, I completed a full process with another company and accepted their offer. In summary, the whole process would take 40 days or more, and you waste a lot of time before even knowing which client you'll be working for.

The communication was pretty clear, and the process was well-defined. It began with a chat with a nice HR person. Then there were English and Soft Skills Tests to check cultural fit. Each stage had a different person, and the conversations were very professional. If you passed those, you'd get a technical evaluation and then an interview with the client.
