Warehouse Associate
It was a 15-day process, involving a virtual interview, a warehouse walkthrough, and then a background check. It's quite lengthy, so be dedicated and prepared for that. If you have pretty much anything negative on your background check, just be aware that a "pre-adverse action" letter may be coming at the 2 to 2 1/2 week point. It really sucks to invest that much time/effort/energy in applying, just to have a background issue sink the whole thing.
- Can you tell me about a time when a conflict with a coworker happened or could have happened?
Warehouse Associate
It took about two weeks after applying for someone to get in touch. I got an email for a digital interview on HireVue. This interview had 5 written or multiple choice questions and 3 video questions where I had to answer "what would you do in this situation" type questions. Then, a recruiter contacted me to discuss my shift preference from their given options and if I wanted to do a group tour. They told me to be active and ask questions during the tour. The same day, a recruiter called to offer me the job.
- Can you describe an instance where you collaborated with a team to achieve a specific objective?
- Share an experience where you had to accomplish a task without prior knowledge or knowing how to do it.
Warehouse Associate
The interview was conducted over the phone and was quite quick and straightforward. They asked basic questions about my past jobs and why I left them. The only downside is the disorganized communication within the warehouse, which is evident. It took me a while to figure out if my position was seasonal, and someone else eventually told me it was. I'm still unsure if I'm seasonal or not, and I know I didn't apply for a seasonal role. Additionally, there's no drug test required for the packer position in the warehouse.
- What was your previous employer?
- What led you to leave your last job?
