Intern
The interview experience started with submitting my portfolio and resume. The people working there are really nice and the whole process was smooth and positive. I'd definitely recommend this company and the internship.

Intern
It was super simple, just two rounds. The first was a pre-recorded interview, and the second was with a live interviewer. They were looking for someone who knows their way around Excel, and they asked general questions, no technical stuff. They seemed to really like me, but ultimately decided not to move forward after the second round.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Are you proficient in Excel?
Intern
I applied online and got a call to schedule an interview about a week later. The interview was set for two weeks after that call. I went in for a 4-person panel interview where they each asked me questions and took notes. They started with basic questions like preferred location, top three departments, and availability. Then they moved on to more in-depth questions. My advice: 1. Have your resume, recommendation letter, cover letter, and thank you note ready to hand over. 2. Write down potential questions and prepare answers. 3. Dress professionally but showcase your personal style, as it's Nordstrom, not a bank. I recommend avoiding a suit. I wore black velvet pants, a white blouse, and blush pumps, with accessories. 4. Arrive early to review notes and use the restroom. 5. Don't forget to eat to avoid feeling shaky. Good luck!
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Nordstrom?
- What influences your fashion sense and inspiration?
- Can you share an experience where you demonstrated leadership and how you managed the situation?
