Behavioral Presentation

The interview experience was straightforward and swift. I attended their job fair, submitted my resume, and then had an interview with a manager. I was extended an offer right then and there. They inquire about basic interview topics, a bit about yourself, and then some questions about how you'd handle certain situations. For sales roles, you'll be taken to the sales floor to create an outfit based on a given scenario.

Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty straightforward process. First, I had an online interview, and then an in-person one. They asked about my previous experience and how I would handle different customer situations. It wasn't overly challenging, but the key was always to focus on the customer. I got the offer the day after the interview and started the next week.

I had a phone screen with the recruiter, it was nice. We had a good chat, she got me pumped about the company and the role and we talked about what's next. The next part was a call with the hiring manager, which was set up. Before setting it up, I gave my availability and noted on the specific day and time, I had a hard stop after 30 minutes which the coordinator wrote down. I waited 10 mins after our scheduled time when I didn't get a call and sent the coordinator an email saying we need to reschedule, as I had a hard stop, it didn't make sense for us to connect that day. Right after I sent my email, I got a call from the hiring manager, I didn't answer, as my time is just as valuable as hers, and I had already sent a message that we should reschedule. I got an email back saying " Well she said she called you at that time, but I will work on rescheduling" 10 mins late is NOT the scheduled time. If I was hired and pulled this with a client, the client would not be happy. I totally get that meetings run late, but send an email that you have to hop on the call late. Use common courtesy! The next day I got an email that they were taking me out of the process because the position was put on hold. Maybe that's true, maybe not. But anyway, the hiring manager should have personally apologized for her lateness and not put the blame on me...you were late, own it, you'd expect me to do the same with a client, why wouldn't you treat candidates with the same respect?
