Everything was online. It was about two interview rounds with different members of Senior Leadership Team and the Principal. Standard interview questions were asked, but the second round was more focused on pastoral and safeguarding topics. It is a good idea to also research the school beforehand because they will inquire about your reasons for selecting this particular location.
- What aspect of teaching do you find most rewarding?
- What makes you want to teach at this particular school?
- Can you describe your approach to student well-being?

I was interviewed by the Head of Secondary, the Department Lead, and the Assistant Head of Secondary. They were professional, spoke well, and were approachable. They asked the usual interview questions about things like differentiation and what inspires me to teach. Each person asked questions about specific areas – the department lead focused on subject-specific topics, the head of secondary asked about inclusion and management, and the assistant head asked about inspiration and behavior.
- Can you tell me about how you differentiate instruction?
- How do you manage classroom behavior?
- What personality traits do you think are important for a teacher?

The HR practices were questionable and raised red flags. They emailed asking for referees with a tight deadline for the next day and kept pushing for referees to return the form to them. They emailed for the first round interview with a tight deadline, emailing Friday night at 9 pm, requesting a reply by Monday 10:30 am to confirm an interview for Tuesday. They requested that I make the necessary arrangements at my current workplace to attend the interview, which I did, only for them to cancel with a made-up 'emergency meeting'. The disrespect is unbelievable. You only have to check Reddit to see other people warning people about this company.
- Number 1 question was why were you not employed?
