After a quick intro to the topic, we went straight into the case study, which let me show off a hobby. The whole interview had 2 rounds and lasted about 30-40 minutes. They took the case study and guestimates pretty seriously.

NRI FinTech came to our campus and held 3 rounds of interviews. First, there was an online test, then a technical round, and finally an HR round. They started with a Pre-Placement Talk which had important info. The online test had MCQs in 5 sections: General Aptitude (13 Qs), RDBMS (5 Qs), Data Structure (5 Qs), and optional Java (15 Qs) & C++ (15 Qs). General Aptitude was easy, RDBMS needed a little knowledge, and Data Structures were very basic. C++ and Java were optional bonus sections. Out of 508 students, only 45 got to the next round, and I was one of them. The technical round was mostly about Java, as that's their main language. The interviewer checked my resume thoroughly. They started with C questions on file handling, structures, and memory allocation. Then they moved to Java, asking about collections, operator overloading/overriding, data hiding, platform independence, compilation phases, and JDBC. Questions about the SDLC, Dynamic Programming, SQL (counting employees older than 25), Normalization, and pipe-lining were also asked. Around 30 out of 45 students passed this round, and I did too. After that was the HR round.
