Consultant
The people overall were nice and the work sounded very interesting. The business model and product offerings are pretty good, although not entirely stable. (highly dependent on winning contracts from large FI's) The interview was a phone interview which took about 1/2 hour and a in person with a a group that lasted the better part of a day. The question's posed were rather standard nothing too technical more along the lines of how do you approach a problem. I did notice the office was really quiet and most of the staff seemed rather subdued. They had some minor perks like free drinks. The major issue I think they will face is scaling their product to new customer's there are only so many large FI's in the market and many of them have a similar product developed internally.

Director of Product Marketing
After sending in my resume, HR reached out to schedule an interview. We went back and forth on dates and times a few times before finally settling on one, but then I didn't get a call. I emailed to ask about rescheduling, and it took them two days to reply. We set up another time, and again, no call at the scheduled time. I eventually did chat with HR, but they seemed really uninterested and just read questions from a script. It felt like they were just going through the motions. They only asked three questions and the whole thing was under 10 minutes. HR said I'd hear back in two days, but after a week, I emailed for an update. They sent a templated response saying they were moving on with other candidates. The whole process felt really unprofessional with missed appointments and promises. They also had a really weird cut and paste email response.

Data Engineer
First, I talked to the lead engineer on the phone for about 30 minutes. Mostly we just talked about my resume and they asked some design questions. The interviewer mentioned they were in a hurry to hire someone. A few days later, I had a 4-hour in-person interview. Tech and business leads interviewed me (if you were remote, you did it over webcam). Two interviewers asked me technical questions, and one was a whiteboard design question. After the interview, they totally ghosted me and didn't reply to my emails. Honestly, I think I dodged a bullet. It was a bummer they didn't handle the post-interview part professionally after being so nice before.
- Can you explain the specifics of a project you've designed or built on the whiteboard?
Big Data Engineer
The hiring process is really smooth. I applied online and then got a call from HR. They scheduled my first round, a Skype interview, for the next week. HR was super helpful and always got back to me fast. The Skype interview went well. It started with me talking a bit about myself, and then I got a collab-edit link to do some coding. The people there seem great, and it would definitely be a good place to work.
