Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nolan Transportation Group.
Business Development Executive
Phenomenal interview experience! The interviewers asked great questions relevant to the role and gave detailed insights into the company's operations. Best interview I've ever had.
- Could you explain what a 3PL is and its operational mechanics?
- Describe your experience with negotiation.
Account Executive
It was a pretty simple process. First, I had a call with HR. Then, I had a one-on-one interview with the sales manager over Zoom because of COVID, but it was supposed to be in the office where the job is. After that, I had a phone call with the district sales manager. Each chat was about 30 minutes to an hour long. They mostly asked behavioral questions to see if I'd be a good culture fit – like if I'm motivated and energetic – and threw in some situational questions about how I'd handle or prioritize things.
- Can you describe a time you dealt with a stressful situation?
- How would you go about prioritizing tasks X, Y, and Z?
- What do you believe sets you apart from others?
Account Executive
The recruiter reached out and we set up a time for a phone interview. It was pretty easy, normal interview questions. Then I had an interview with the sales managers, which went well. I had one more interview with the regional general manager over the phone. It was just getting to know you and basic interview questions.
- What makes you the best candidate for NTG?
