Growth Marketing Manager
The interview process consisted of four parts. First, an initial phone screening that went smoothly. Then, a meeting with some team members and HR, which was also fine, though they seemed preoccupied. After that was the take-home assignment, where I had to create a full media plan for a client based on a case study from their website, which felt a bit off. I did the project, which they said would take '3 hours max' – but a proper media plan always needs more time, and they didn't give all the necessary data. The final meeting was to discuss the plan, and it was a total mismatch. They questioned my approach, likely because they had a pre-existing plan for the client that they considered definitive and were looking for someone who thought the same way. I didn't advance, which wasn't a surprise. All in all, it was disappointing.

Intern
The interview process was drawn out and confusing. I didn’t hear back after the first round until nearly a month later, when I was invited to a second interview. I then completed a time-intensive trial assignment that was sent to me late at night with a very short turnaround—despite putting in over 10 hours of work, I received a rejection email offering compensation for a low rate with maximum of 5 hours. This rate and cap were never disclosed, nor was the consulting agreement referenced in the message ever shared. The same role was reposted on LinkedIn a couple days after I received the rejection.

Growth Marketing Specialist
So the interview was like a four-parter. First, HR gave me a quick look-over. Then, I had a zoom call with a team member. After that, it was a 'trial' where I had to cook up a whole media plan for a client and then pitch it to two people from the team. The last step was an in-person meeting with the CEO. Honestly, for the level and pay of this job, it felt like a lot. I stuck with it though, because I really wanted the gig. They were super quick to reply between interviews, except for the very last one. I went to the office to meet the CEO, but he legit had zero time for me. He just hit me with what felt like random questions and didn't let me ask anything back. It was like he was trying to mess with my head. Not cool at all. I went through all four interviews just for them to ghost me and never give me any update. I followed up three times and still nothing. If I didn't get the job, fine. But making me go through a long interview process and then ghosting? That's just immature.

Community Manager
I had a virtual chat with the recruiter first. Then, I was supposed to interview with two people from the team, but one was on vacation, so it ended up just being the hiring manager. They asked straightforward questions, and it was pretty easy. The vibe was super relaxed, and you could tell the company culture is good. Sadly, the role got put on hold, but I had a great experience and appreciated them keeping me updated, even though it didn't work out.
