I had an initial chat with HR, then an interview with my potential supervisor, and finally, I met with the CEO. The whole thing was a bit messy but moved really fast. The questions were good until the CEO part. She was late, not paying attention, and totally clueless. Honestly, for someone with a decade in DC, she was impressively out of touch. The questions she asked were simple, but she clearly had no clue about the job or how to explain her vision. Glad I dodged that bullet. If your resume is solid, steer clear of No Labels.

The interview process started off pretty good. I did a phone interview with the Director of the Office of the CEO which was pleasant. However, the in-person interview was probably one of the worst experiences that I had in my entire life. In terms of the office environment, the workplace is pretty stale. The interview process was basically like speed dating. I met with 4 people separately and they all asked the same exact questions which was pretty exhausting and redundant. And only one person that I interviewed with was apart of the department that I was applying for. Even worse, one of the interviewers who was in charge of administration was also pretty condescending which I did not appreciate at all and tells me all I need to know about the organization. I will be withdrawing my application.

I sent in my application through my school's database. Then they emailed me to set up a phone interview. It was pretty chill, lasting around 20-30 minutes. They mostly wanted to know why I was into their work and how it would fit with my studies. They asked when I was free and said they'd let me know. After I got my offer, I was paired with someone at the firm to help and guide me during the internship.

I first chatted with someone on the phone, and then I went in for an in-person interview. While I was at the office, I met with two people. They asked me about my career goals and my previous experience. It was pretty straightforward. I get so nervous interviewing, but I guess I did okay!
