Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NN Group.
Intern
I applied online and then got invited to an interview at the HQ in The Hague a few days later. I went to the interview and met with the department manager and a colleague. We talked for about 30-35 minutes, going over my CV and asking questions about the role. They said I'd hear back that evening or the next day, and I did.
- Could you tell me about your main strengths and weaknesses?
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this position?
- How have your past experiences equipped you for this role?
Intern
The process involved 3 rounds, starting with portfolio managers, followed by a case study and excel competency test, and concluding with an HR interview. It took them about 3-4 weeks to get back to me with an offer. The interviewers were friendly, making the application process a very pleasant experience.
- What motivated you to apply for this specific position?
Intern
The Teams meeting wasn't that interesting, though they were friendly. They said they would communicate afterwards and that I could inquire about other assignments, but this didn't seem to be the case later.
