Full Stack Engineer
So the interview process with them had three steps. First, you chat with the hiring manager. Then, there's a technical interview with two of the developers. Finally, you have a chat about cultural fit and behavioral stuff with both the talent acquisition manager and the hiring manager. The whole thing was online and took about 3 to 4 weeks to wrap up.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- How would you go about building this app live?
- Do you have any questions for us?
Software Engineer
I was contacted by a recruiter from the company. It took two weeks to set up an initial chat with her. After that, we scheduled a technical interview, which was quite challenging and lasted over two hours. Unfortunately, I never received any feedback afterward, despite their initial promise to provide it regardless of the outcome. I even emailed the recruiter for an update, but she didn't respond.
- Can you discuss .NET patterns?
- What are OOP concepts?
- Explain dependency injection.
Javascript Engineer
From my experience, it seems like they're not actually looking to hire anyone new. It looks like they posted the ad either for a promotion or to gauge the number of potential replacements for their current staff, as I've seen this position reposted every month for the past 1-2 years. I had an online interview with someone from the technical team who asked a lot of vague and irrelevant questions, and then it took them a whole month to provide feedback. That's pretty wild, right?
- A bunch of weird questions that felt more like an interrogation, don't bother asking anything they either won't answer or will just leave you more confused!
Information Security Officer
The interview process was good overall. I had questions about my personality along with technical ones. A recruiter did a general screening. My first interview was with a senior colleague who asked technical questions and about my personality to see if I fit the role. They gave me time to answer and some feedback. The second interview was with the line manager and involved many situation-based questions. I received feedback on time. I got the job offer a week after the second interview.
- How would you handle resistance from colleagues?
- What actions would you take to enhance security awareness within the organization?
