The interview started with an initial chat, followed by a technical interview. Then, there was a dinner interview that was non-technical. They said they would provide feedback after the third round, but they never got back to me. They talked a lot about their friendly culture and how nice they are, but couldn't provide feedback when they lost interest.

I applied online and then got a call from a recruiter who chatted about my current role, the position, and the company's history. She also sent links about the company culture and a product we were hiring for. The company likes product-minded engineers, so they wanted candidates to critique a product. A few days later, the hiring manager called, and after our talk, I was invited for an onsite interview in their SF office. I met the VP, recruiter, and hiring manager there. Everyone seemed really passionate. Normally, after the onsite, you get an assignment to complete, followed by another onsite for a code review. However, they decided not to proceed because I lacked the necessary domain knowledge, even though I was looking forward to the assignment round. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and meeting the people.

Behavioral Technical

I was first contacted by an internal recruiter and had a good conversation, after which I sent my CV. Then, I got a tech exam that I completed and submitted. Following that, I had a call with the VP of Engineering. The recruiter mentioned that more interviews would be arranged with the rest of the team because they liked my tech exam solution. That was the last I heard about my application, and months have passed. It was unprofessional not to inform me whether my application was rejected.
