First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nitro.
Sales Development Representative
Nitro reached out about a week after I sent my resume. We scheduled a phone chat for the following week. It was about 10 minutes and covered the role and my background. A few days later, I had a second chat with the recruiting and sales manager, which was more sales-focused. They were really good about explaining what was next and keeping me updated on where I was in the process. I felt comfortable asking questions to either the recruiter or the hiring manager, and they always replied fast. It felt competitive and intense, but they were nice and fair.
- Can you tell me about your experience in sales?
- What are your thoughts on general sales topics?
Sales Development Representative
The whole interview process was super helpful and I felt like it was a good fit right away. First, I had a 20-min call with the recruiter, who was really nice. Then, I went on-site for the second interview with the sales development team manager. For the third round, I had to give a mock presentation about the product. The manager actually called me beforehand to explain exactly what he was looking for, so I knew what to do. The last interview, the fourth one, was with HR to discuss why I wanted to join Nitro and how I'd fit into the company. After that, the recruiter called to offer me the job, and I accepted right away.
- Are you skilled at showing people how to use technology and software?
Sales Development Representative
I applied through the company website and they reached out the same day to schedule a phone interview. After a brief chat with Rachel and Jennifer, I went in to meet my potential manager. I met with him, had a Skype call with his manager, and met the COO, all within two weeks. The recruiter, Rachel, provided quick and detailed feedback after each meeting. While I was initially nervous about meeting the COO, Gina was surprisingly down-to-earth. They gave me a short assignment at the end of the first interview to understand my approach, which wasn't difficult.
- What is your ideal job, not necessarily related to this role or realistic?
