First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nitro.
Account Executive
I applied online and then heard back from the recruiter a few days later to set up a phone screen. The recruiter was super nice and helpful, she told me what to expect and how to prep. Then I had a phone interview with the VP of Sales. After that, I went in person to interview with the VP of Sales and the Director of Sales Operations. After the in-person, they let me know verbally I'd get an offer, and then 2 days later the recruiter called to say I'd get the offer by email. We then negotiated salary. The whole thing took 3 weeks.

The whole thing took about 1.5 months, felt super long and like I was repeating myself. First, I talked to the recruiter, then the hiring manager, then another Inside Sales Manager, followed by a Senior Director. The last step was a presentation prep. After putting in all that work and getting the slides ready, they told me they'd already offered the role to someone else and thanked me for my time prepping the deck. The Senior Manager of Global Talent then suggested I might fit another role and team, but that I'd have to start the entire process over.
- What prompted your departure from your last role?
- Could you detail your professional history, focusing on your SaaS background?
- Describe your approach to pipeline management.

The interview process at Nitro is really unique and different from other companies. It starts with a video call with someone in the States, which helps both sides get a feel for each other. Then, there are face-to-face meetings, including one with the Sales Director EMEA. After that, I had to give a presentation on how I would pitch Nitro to a new client, showing what I had learned about the company. The final stage was another face-to-face meeting with senior leaders where we discussed the process so far, my past roles, and my goals at Nitro. Throughout the entire process, everyone was friendly and helpful, making me feel like they wanted me to succeed. I received an offer about a week later and was thrilled to accept. I'm really excited to start next month and join the team, many of whom I've already met and found to be very friendly. If you're looking for a great company with a special culture, Nitro is it, but be prepared to be really enthusiastic from the start. I also want to thank my recruiter, Garret Kearney, for keeping me updated and answering all my questions.
- The interview process was not difficult at all; it was a complete pleasure from start to finish.
