Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nissan North America.
Finance Analyst
It was a very formal panel interview that took a very long time. The offices and company culture seemed very uptight and everyone was extremely busy. Management could do more to make prospective employees feel welcome to attract top talent.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered in your career, how you managed it, and what the result was?
Financial Analyst
It was a mix of zoom and in-person meetings. There were 3 stages in the interview process. The first was with the hiring manager, the second with a co-manager, and the third with a senior manager along with the previous two managers. They asked the same questions in all three interviews.
- Describe a situation based on your work experiences.
Financial Analyst
There were 2 rounds total. First, an HR screen, then a second interview with the hiring manager and two other managers. The managers were approachable and easy to talk to, so just be yourself and have some good questions ready for them.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a problem? Describe how you addressed it and what the result was.
