Data Analyst
It was a pleasant and fast-paced interview process, well-organized and designed to make candidates feel comfortable. The panel ensured clear communication, especially if I was feeling nervous. The overall communication and process were smooth and seamless, making it a great opportunity for anyone starting in this field. The company also offers a dynamic growth period.
- Can you tell me about your projects?
- What are your thoughts on mid-level SQL queries?

So, the interview process had a standard initial aptitude round which was fair. Then there was a Group Discussion on the topic 'Future of Electric Mobility' which was pretty relevant. But the cons were, like, the interviewer was so unprofessional, totally disengaged during the GD and even the personal interview, which made the whole atmosphere feel hostile and dismissive. They asked literally zero technical questions about SQL, Python, or Power BI, even though I applied for a technical role. Instead, they grilled me about my family background, college admission details like CET vs. Management quota, and my rank, and they seemed to look down on me after hearing it, showing clear prejudice. The interview ended abruptly with a sudden aptitude question instead of a technical one. When I stumbled, they just said, 'That's it, you may leave,' and outside another person rudely told me to 'Go home.' It was super humiliating and felt more like an interrogation than an interview. Management should really train interviewers to focus on skills, not college admission history, and basic respect is a must.
- Tell me about your background.
- What about your parents?
- What is your parents' occupation?
Data Analyst Intern
The interview process started with an online aptitude test on the Mindtree platform. It had 90 questions to be completed in 90 minutes and included logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability. Be careful, there was negative marking! Then, there was a short group discussion, about 10 minutes max, where you got 1 minute to prep thoughts on a topic. After that, a technical interview. They'll ask about your resume projects, especially Python and SQL stuff. You'll likely get an SQL question to write on paper, and maybe a Python question too, possibly involving Pandas or NumPy for data analysis or plotting. They also presented a business scenario, asking for 5 KPIs to track for an e-bike rental company and how they'd help analysis. Finally, an HR interview. Expect personal questions like where you're from and family details. They'll ask why Mindtree and why you fit, plus other skills and hobbies. Be genuine, it's about personality and culture fit.

React Developer
So the interview process involved a technical screen and then an onsite round. They asked a bunch of questions covering semantic tags, inline vs block, box model, event delegation, hoisting, promises, and the difference between debouncing and throttling. There were also logical questions, including a closure example, writing a flatten map function for a nested array, finding the first unique character in a string, implementing debounce for search, and implementing API pagination.
- Could you explain semantic tags?
- What's the distinction between inline and block elements?
- Describe the box model.
