I got a call because I didn't finish my application, I was rushing out of town. The lady on the phone wasn't interested and asked me to come in for a 1:1 interview. I dressed in my usual interview outfit. When I got there, two girls were in the store, one the manager and one other sales associate. The manager didn't even introduce herself, but I still shook her hand. We went to the hallway of the mall for the interview. The manager first talked about her own work experience for like ten minutes before the actual interview. Then she asked me about my experience, how I connect with people, why I want to work there, my salary expectations, and how much notice I'd need. She mentioned I'd have to travel to another location sometimes, which is far. She said I'd be opening and closing and then asked if I had questions. I asked about working in other stores, shifts, and start date. She never smiled. She said if I heard from them, I got the job, but I'm not expecting it and would decline anyway. They seemed stuck up and she looked down on me.
