It took a few weeks to hear back after applying. The first step was a video interview on HireVue. You have 3 minutes to record your response to each question, and you can't edit or delete anything once the time is up or you move on. I wasn't thrilled about the lack of human interaction, especially since Nike emphasizes community and experience. I got an email saying I passed the HireVue, but I had to follow up with HR four weeks later. They eventually told me that my application was passed to the managers, but they were looking for someone with more supply chain experience.

Behavioral Technical Case

Applied in late February, and it took them a while to get back to me. First, I had to do a recorded interview through HireVue, where you get 30 seconds to prep and then 2 minutes to record your answer. They asked basic questions about why Nike and my motivation. About a month later, I had a 45-minute video call with two managers. This was all about the job itself, my expectations for the role, and why I wanted to join their specific team. After that, I was sent a business case with a 24-hour deadline. It involved sourcing for a new product launch. It wasn't straightforward because there were no specific requirements, so I had a lot of freedom in how I approached it, which could be good or bad. It seems my solution wasn't strong enough, as they mentioned they were looking for candidates with more in-depth procurement knowledge and experience.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Can you share a situation where you learned a valuable lesson?
  • Describe an instance of when you were innovative.
  • What do you believe are the essential steps in the procurement process?
