I applied online and heard back within a week. The hiring process had a quick phone screen, followed by a 30-minute chat in the store with the manager. We discussed customer service, teamwork, and my enthusiasm for sports and the products. It felt pretty chill. They stressed the importance of being available on weekends, being dependable, and how I'd handle busy times and knowing the products.

The interview process was a bit long, but it felt worthwhile and generally good. It wasn't excessively long, but also not too brief. They were open to hearing my thoughts and I got to ask them questions to learn more about the company and the job openings.

There were multiple people interviewing and being interviewed at a table, and they asked everyone the same questions. Some questions were general, and others were specific to NIKE, like asking about my favorite athlete endorsed by NIKE. I mentioned that I didn't really follow sports for athletics but more recreationally and didn't have a favorite endorsed athlete. Everyone else seemed to have one, and I was worried I wouldn't get a call back because of it, but I did! Me and two other interviewees got job offers that day.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me who your favorite athlete endorsed by NIKE is?
