Brand Marketing Intern
I did two HireVue interviews, one for the general Nike internship and a second one specifically for brand marketing. It took about a month between both interviews to hear back. Each question was timed, giving me around 2-3 minutes to answer.
- Tell me about a marketing trend you've recently been keeping up with.
Marketing Intern
Found out about the job from someone inside the company. Sent my resume to them, and they probably passed it on to the recruiters. Got an email back within a week to set up a phone interview for the next week with two people. I did the phone interview, and it went fine with no weird questions. Then, within another week, I got a call to come in for an in-person interview. There were supposed to be three other supervisors or hiring managers there. When I got there, they were nice and introduced me to three people. They also said more people from different departments would pop in to ask questions. They were interviewing me for two different intern roles to see which one fit me best. About 6 or 7 people interviewed me in total. It was pretty laid-back, and I felt comfortable. Questions were about things like favorite store displays, my strengths, why I like Nike, and how I pick stores to shop at. The interview went really well, and I was happy with it. They said they'd let me know when they made a decision. I got a call within two weeks saying I didn't get the position because the other candidate had more retail experience than me. It was a good experience, and everyone was welcoming and open about the process.
- What are you most passionate about?
- What would you do if you had conflicting deadlines for assignments that two different people were expecting to be completed?
Marketing Intern
I found this marketing intern gig through my university's career service for their Netherlands HQ. After they checked my CV, I got an email for a Digital Interview. It's this thing where you log onto a platform, and questions just pop up on the screen while you're on camera. It was actually pretty tough for me, and I felt kinda awkward. The questions were mostly about behavior.
- Tell me about a time you had to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and explain how you managed them.
- What would you say is the best Nike advertisement?
