Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NIIT Limited.
Performance Engineer
The interview process included an initial HR pre-screening call, followed by a technical round and a manager round. There was also a final HR discussion. The interviewers lacked professionalism and created an uncomfortable discussion environment. They adhered strictly to a set of questions and expected specific answers, without providing a job description or details about the role. The interview was scheduled with very little notice.
- How do you obtain test data for testing purposes?
Developer
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and sent a take-home test. I completed the test and was told I'd be connected with a client, but the recruiter then ghosted me and never got back in touch. It was a waste of my time, and I suspect they'll do the same to you.
- The test included some easy questions, and one coding/dev test in Unity that was more in-depth and took several hours.
Technical Engineer
So, there were 3 interview rounds in total. First was the Personal Interview (PI) round, which was pretty good and had basic questions. Then came the Technical round, which included a psychometric test. They asked questions covering the whole CCNA syllabus. Finally, there was the HR round.
- Can you tell me about your educational background?
