First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nigerian Breweries.
Manager
We started with a group discussion, then a presentation on a randomly chosen topic, and finally a panel interview with specialists in the field. My advice is to stay calm, think before you speak, and use the STAR method.
- Do you know our company's goals and ambitions?
Management Trainee
First part was degree related questions. Then there was a company case study where I had to talk about sales strategy to enhance profit and customer retention. After that, I had to discuss current affairs issues for 5 mins. Then came questions about my CV, the position I'm applying for, and key concepts related to my course of study and the position which might need diagrams and flow charts.
- Explain the mechanical refrigeration process.
- Tell me about the job role.
- How do you fit into our company culture?
Management Trainee
So, the interview process for the Management Trainee role involved a group case study first. After that, there was an interview that dug into my resume, with some questions related to my specific discipline, current affairs, and a 5-minute presentation on a current economic pain point, like unemployment or corruption, and what its impact is. Finally, there were competency-based questions, plus some math, quantitative analysis, and mechanics stuff.
- Can you explain the mechanical refrigeration cycle?
