First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NIFCO America Corp.
Design Engineer
So first they told me about the company and what they were looking for. Then, I had to walk them through my resume. After that, there were some quiz questions and they quizzed me on physical prototypes.
- Can you give some examples of your creativity?
Project Engineer
I had a phone call with the HR Manager, then a follow-up interview with the project lead and their assistant. They asked a lot of questions about my background, and then we toured the plant where I saw the operations.
- What was your previous experience?
Project Engineer
After applying through an external career site, a recruiter contacted me to set up an interview. Travel expenses are not covered. The first interview was with three engineers who prioritized a positive attitude over work experience. The second interview involved two managers, one of whom was from the previous round. This interview was very casual and informal, unlike typical interviews with standard questions. All interviewers were engineers and friendly. Finally, a recruiter handled salary negotiations, though their compensation is not competitive.
