I got a recruiter call in September and the interview process was super fast, finishing all 3 rounds in just 3 days. The first round was technical, covering general ML/DL algorithms for 30 mins, then 3 SQL and 2 Python coding questions for another 30 mins. The next day, I had a project-focused round with the senior manager. The day after that, I met with the Director for a mixed bag of project and technical questions. The interviewer let me know I got the job the very next day.

The interview started with an online test, which included basic MCQs about Data Science and aptitude, plus two straightforward Python coding questions. The second round focused on coding. The questions were pretty basic; they mainly wanted to see if I could code and if I understood classes and how to write production-level code. The third round was a mix of technical and behavioral. There were two interviewers from another country. They began by asking for my introduction and how I got into Data Science. Then, they shared a document with statistical research data (like p-value, coefficient, t-test) and asked questions based on it, evaluating my problem-solving approach.

I applied online, and the job description was really sloppy, like sentences broken into multiple points. Then I got an invite, but no job title or location, which was weird since I applied for multiple roles. I asked the recruiter, and she just sent the title in a one-word email. The recruiter interview itself was late, she showed up 8 mins late after I messaged her. She asked about salary expectations, and I mentioned the work-visa threshold. She vaguely explained the steps: Hiring Manager interview then Technical Interviews, and mentioned I might be considered for other roles too. After that, I got another invite without the job title, and the recruiter didn't respond when I asked. The Hiring Manager interview was also late, he joined on his phone, was sitting on the ground wearing a wrinkled t-shirt, and his accent was really hard to understand. Then I got yet another vague invitation, and a week later, 30 mins before it, the previous Hiring Manager emailed saying the recruiter scheduled the same interview again and it was cancelled. I sent a few follow-up emails, and after weeks, the Hiring Manager finally replied saying they're moving on with other candidates, with no feedback.
