I had a phone screen which was supposed to be a 30 min behavioral interview. It turned out to be a technical interview, which I was prepared for, but they asked me technical questions related to a niche job role that I wasn't expecting, which was a bit frustrating and blindsiding.

Applied through LinkedIn and got my resume shortlisted. Had a phone interview where they asked about my work experience, my strengths and weaknesses, and how I handled difficult situations. I asked about the company culture, and they responded. Still in the process of interviewing.

It was a standard interview process with 3 stages: a discussion with the manager, a technical talk with the proposal lead, and an HR session. The questions focused on my CV experience and the job requirements. All interviews were remote, and the team was very welcoming and helpful.

Contacted by H.R. for an immediate interview. Met with a 'fixer' who was brought in to rebuild the location. We toured the building and discussed numerous Quality issues affecting both this plant and the Mexico plant. Their reputation was damaged by poor quality, which was a known local issue for decades. My background and experience were a perfect match for what she was looking for. She wanted me to come back the next day to speak with the Operations Manager. She expressed a strong desire to hire me immediately after our initial discussion. The conversation with the Operations Manager was fine. I was then called back for a third meeting with the person who had been running Warranty and Quality for over 10 years. Instead of discussing quality, he was negative and seemed to try to undermine me. It appeared that if hired, I would have been his superior, but his negativity was a major drawback. I perceived this long-term employee as a significant part of the quality problems.
