The interview started with a recruiter call, followed by a technical screen. The technical screen involved basic and advanced Java questions covering OOPs, multithreading, and concurrency. There were also coding questions like string reversal, SQL questions, and Spring Boot specific questions about annotations and the overall flow of the framework (controller, services, components).

Technical Behavioral

The whole interview process took over a month, and I had to follow up a lot with HR. Started with an online test, then two technical interviews which I aced. After that, there was an L3 round that was completely non-technical, just asking about my day-to-day work and any challenges. Surprisingly, no technical questions were asked in this round. I was later told I failed L3 because 'Core concepts are not cleared,' which is weird since no technical questions were asked. When I asked HR for a proper explanation, I got no response. Really a bad recruitment experience with NICE.

Technical Behavioral Coding

So I had a recruiter call first, then a phone interview with a senior consultant. It wasn't super technical, mostly about my resume and what I've done. Then I went in for an in-person interview at their NYC office. They had me do a written test first, it was like a SQL-based language and some questions. After that, I had interviews with three different people: two were really technical, focusing on databases and SQL, and one was HR. I got good feedback from everyone, and it seemed like I was definitely going to get an offer. But then, about a week later, they called me back to come in for another in-person interview. Honestly, that was pretty unprofessional and made me think they have a really disorganized hiring process. I did that interview, which was only 15 minutes long, and still no offer. It was a pretty bad interview experience overall.
