Graduate Student
The interview process was smooth with clear requirements and a deadline. The assessment included several types of engaging questions, and it provided insights into the company culture and work environment.
- What motivates your choice to apply to NHS?
Finance Graduate Scheme
So I applied for this NHS Graduate Scheme, and it was quite the experience, really thorough but also pretty cool. First, the online application was super easy to use, just plugged in my info and academic stuff. They asked good questions to see if I fit with what the NHS is all about, not just grades. Then came the assessment centre, which was the best part! We did group discussions, had to give presentations, and then these interviews where they asked about our skills. The people running it were real healthcare pros, so it felt fair. It was a good way to actually show what I could do and chat with other applicants. The interview bit was where I could really talk about why I wanted to work for the NHS. The interviewers were really listening and made it easy to be myself. They asked stuff about my skills and if I matched the NHS values, which was smart. They kept us updated the whole time, which was great and took away a lot of the stress. They even gave us feedback afterward, which was super helpful for knowing what to work on.
- What specific contributions can you make to the team?
- Can you elaborate on your personal motivations and future goals within the NHS?
- Please describe your professional competencies and how they align with this role.
Graduate Program
The interview process was straightforward. It started with a role-playing exercise, followed by an HR interview. Then there were some unassessed discussions about anything you want. Finally, there was a group case or challenge. The HR interview was easy with basic questions. For the role-playing part, you're given a real-world NHS problem and a specific role, like regional head of change management. You need to convince everyone to accept a new program you're introducing, while others on the call play roles of people who will try to deny your solution.
- Can you explain your motivation for applying to the NHS?
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What are your weaknesses?
