Management Accountant
The interview process had two parts. First, there was an assessment that involved an Excel practice based on the job description and lasted for one hour. After that, I was asked situational questions.
- Can you tell me what you understand about this role and why you're interested in working here?
Assistant Accountant
They ask 6 questions and rate each one out of 5 to give you an overall score and the best score should get the role. questions are all competency based questions such as give me time to deal with stressful situation.
- What are your motivations for wanting to join the NHS?
- Could you share some information about this department?
- Please provide an instance where you were required to handle sensitive information.
Accountant
Had a Microsoft Teams interview with two senior finance folks. They gave me a cost centre I&E a few days before and asked me to prep for a meeting with the budget holder. They also asked ten role and competency based questions. The interviewers were nice and patient, happy to answer my questions.
