The scheduling was great and all the interviewers were friendly and transparent. We had good discussions about the role, its future directions, and the company's goals and future directions.

Got an email inviting me to an on-site interview. Questions weren't too hard. A few hours after my interview finished, I got an email saying they want me back for a second round of interviews. And at NGM, even at an associate level, they want you to do a presentation at the second interview. I said yes, they said they'd get back with scheduling. No response for a week, so I reached out for an update. They said they were still scheduling. It's been 2 months and I haven't heard back.

I got lucky and knew someone at NGM, so my resume got to a hiring manager who I then spoke with on the phone. About a week later, I had a 90-minute Skype video call with the manager, a director, and a few other folks. They seemed to like me, so they invited me for an all-day onsite interview the following week. The day started with HR, then I gave a presentation to a group of scientists and associates, which went well and they asked good questions. After that, I spent about 5 more hours interviewing with various scientists and associates. I had lunch with some associates and they showed me around the labs. The interview wrapped up with a long chat with the hiring manager. Sadly, I didn't get an offer, though I really wanted to work there because everyone was so nice, the workspace and labs were great, and I especially liked the hiring manager and director. The team's belief in the company and its mission was really inspiring. I wish them all the best.
