First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NFC Amenity Management.
Concierge Director
The interview process started out pretty simple. First, I spoke with the Regional Manager who reviewed the job description with me. We interviewed for a specific property, and she offered me the job. I then resigned from my current role. However, after that, she had me meet with the Area Manager. When I met with this manager, they assigned me to a different location because the original one was already filled before I even met with the Regional Manager. Since I had already given notice at my previous job, it felt like a bait and switch. I strongly advise avoiding this company. They offer no good benefits, don't pay out unused vacation or personal time when you leave, and their perks are just illusions.
- Can you describe a time you had to make a difficult work-related decision and how you approached it?
Concierge
The interview started with introductions and icebreakers designed to assess teamwork, communication, and personality, lasting about 30 minutes. Afterwards, we filled out forms and then had individual interviews. The atmosphere was a mix of nervousness and relaxation, and the interviews felt professional yet laid-back. Although there were two interviewers, one primarily led the conversation, with the other interjecting for additional details. It's recommended to research the company to make a good impression. I applied via Indeed and received an interview invitation about 5 days later. An offer followed roughly a week after that, with a start date scheduled for two days after onboarding.
- Tell me about your greatest strength.
- What would you consider your greatest weakness?
- Is your availability flexible?
Lifeguard
It was pretty organized and direct. I talked to team leaders who made sure I got the lifeguard responsibilities. They checked if I understood the importance of time management and customer service, and also verified my certifications.
- What makes you want to be a lifeguard?
Concierge Director
I spoke first with the Area Director and then with the Regional Director. It was mostly a chat about my past work and potential place in the company. The process wasn't too intense.
- Can you discuss your prior work history?
- How do you think you would fit into our team?
