First I talked to the hiring manager. Then, I had a phone call with another sales representative. The last round was with 2 employees and the MD. They are looking for passionate people who can easily explain retargeting. I was asked several questions about the company, their competitors, and what makes AdRoll different from them.

Applied via referral, recruiter contacted me quickly. Had a short phone interview (15-20 min) about my background and AdRoll. They suggested I research AdRoll thoroughly. Came in for an interview with 2 sales leads and a sales manager. It was standard, focusing on my understanding of Ad-tech and AdRoll's value, plus some data analysis questions. Got called back the next day for a shorter second round to check my interest and get to know me better personally. Got an offer the day after that. They move fast - hired by Friday after applying Monday. Great communication and they treated me well.

My friend put my resume in and I got contacted fast by an intern who liked my resume and wanted to do a quick phone screen. A sales team member called me and asked about my career background and if I knew about Ad Optimization, shopping cart fallout, and retargeting. I didn't really go into detail on anything and the call was about 25 minutes. Then, I was invited for an on-site interview that was supposed to be 90 minutes, but it actually ended up being with 3 sales team members and lasted about 2 hours. After the last interview, they said they'd let me know the next steps in a few days. About a week later, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward. I asked for more info and she just said they had a lot of good candidates and she didn't know anything else. The place felt like a startup - no offices, ping pong table, casual clothes. Everyone was nice and seemed to like their job and the people there.
