First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NextRoll.
Account Manager
The interview process took 3 weeks. It involved 3 steps: First, a screening with a recruiter. Second, a quick call with role-play with someone from the team. Third, an on-site interview with 4 people. The on-site was the toughest part, speaking with 4 different people back-to-back for 45 minutes each, with no breaks, and they just fired questions at you. Some interviewers were more relaxed, leading to more interaction and company insights. The downside was the feedback, just a rejection email with an offer to reach out for full feedback, which was disappointing after speaking with so many people.

- Describe how you handle difficult clients.
- Give me an example of a time you dealt with a challenging client.
Account Manager
First, there was some back and forth via email, then a phone call interview which was pretty straightforward and professional. We mostly talked about my experience and I had to answer questions about the company, their product, and how retargeting functions. I messed up a key question, though, which I think is why I didn't get the job. It's disappointing that I haven't heard back after the interview.
- Were there any difficult questions if you were well-prepared about the company and their product?
Account Manager
The interview process was long but very organized and well-planned. The recruiting team was great, especially Tara who was helpful and made me feel comfortable. The hiring manager even reached out directly to see if I had questions, which was a nice surprise and made me feel valued.
- How do you plan out your day?
- What is your approach to forecasting?
- What does your current manager consider to be your biggest strength?
