Customer Success Manager
The interview process was supposed to be a few rounds: a quick 30m chat, a more in-depth 1hr interview with the manager, a technical interview, and then a case study. I did well through the first two, finished the second on a Wednesday before I left town, and was told I would get a call back the next Monday at the latest. Monday came, no call. No problem, they might be busy. I gave them a few days, called the recruiter, left a voicemail. The next week, nothing. Called the recruiter again, left another voicemail. It's been 3 weeks, I've heard they've filled the position, and I still have yet to hear from the recruiter who was going to schedule me for the next round. Got ghosted for 3 weeks after nailing two rounds. Still haven't heard a peep.

Customer Success Manager
The overall process was surprisingly straightforward. It started when Nick D. contacted me about a Customer Success role. I wasn't initially familiar with Nexthink, and didn't think to follow up until he reached out a second time. After doing some research, I found Nexthink quite interesting, so we connected. That initial call went well, and I subsequently had one-on-one meetings with the VP of the department and a couple of my potential colleagues. It was evident that everyone I spoke with was content with their positions. They apparently liked me enough to invite me to present an overview of the Nexthink product. This presentation was the most nerve-wracking part of the interview, but the team, including a sales leader, did their best to make me feel at ease. Following the presentation, Nick contacted me with an offer within a day or two, and after a few more days of discussion, I accepted. The entire process took about 3-4 weeks from my initial contact with Nick to accepting the offer. Nick, your persistence in connecting with me was invaluable; without it, I'd still be in my previous role and not embarking on this exciting journey.
- As a CSM, you will be required to give a 30-minute presentation detailing the value proposition of Nexthink for its clients.
Customer Success Manager
I had a few chats over a couple months. First with the recruiter, then the Director, and finally with people I'd work with. All the talks were about Customer Success and how important it is. The Director knew exactly who she wanted and we both thought I'd be a good fit. After the third chat, which was in person and I had to travel for, they went quiet. I had to chase them up to find out they weren't moving forward because they actually wanted a Technical Account Manager, not a Success Manager. Super annoying they didn't mention that earlier, could have saved me time and money.
