Internal Recruiter
I found this job on LinkedIn and was brought in for an onsite interview the day after my phone screen. The office seemed really young. I suspect they chose their downtown location specifically to attract young people with a salary of only $50k, which is pretty low for San Diego. While the people were nice, it felt too junior for me, and I don't think they're equipped to offer competitive salaries or remote work because the younger staff might not be able to handle that level of responsibility. They also seemed unsure about what interview questions are even legal to ask, and they were confused why I wouldn't include a job I had when I was 25 on my resume. It was pretty silly, almost as silly as suggesting I should also add my job at McDonald's when I was 15.

Senior Technical Recruiter
Had a brief and friendly call with the Director, then met with the local Manager/President, followed by a meeting with the current local team, and finally a closing interview. Since I was already known by some of the team, it was a bit easier for me. For those not known, I have participated in and conducted interviews before. The setting was informal, but the questions focused on motivation and cultural fit.

Technical Recruiter
The hiring process was a bit drawn out. I had 4 interviews. I met with an internal recruiter and then the team lead for the team I was to join. After that, I had to give a presentation about why I wanted to work at NextGen. At the end, they told me that they wanted to see different experience.
