So, the interview was like this: first a video screening, then I talked to a teammate, then the hiring manager, then there was a coding challenge for a technical test, and finally I had a chat with the whole team to see if I fit in, you know, checking technical stuff and vibe.

This was a painfully long interview process. They conducted five interviews (3 over the phone, 2 in person), which took place over several weeks. To make things worse, the interviewer had to reschedule twice, and was late for one interview. There was also a personality test and a lengthy IQ test (covering n-back, general knowledge, pattern matching, etc.). The interviews themselves were pretty standard: a chat with a manager, an HR representative, a meeting with the development team, and repeating the same questions to various people. Honestly, this could probably be streamlined into just one or two interviews. Hopefully, my experience was unusual. They gave a simple coding challenge focused on using a public API, and asked typical interview questions. It seems this company really values unit testing and Angular, so it's good to be prepared on those fronts. I did get an offer, but I turned it down because the whole interview experience left a bad impression.

Coding Technical Behavioral

I got a programming assignment. It had UI tests, unit tests, integration tests, server-side caching, API calls to an external API, and a UI page with pagination. I finished it and let them know. Then they told me the position was filled but they were considering me for another team. I reached out many times after that but never heard back. Very unprofessional.
