I was found through LinkedIn and had a phone interview. A couple weeks later, I had a Zoom interview with a team lead. Right after that, I was offered an on-site interview for the next week. Something came up for me, so they kindly rescheduled my on-site. For the on-site, I met with the rest of the team leads and site leads. They were really nice and wanted to know me personally, not just from my resume. A week after that, the site lead called me and offered me the job.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn and we had a brief call to discuss my qualifications. Then, I was sent a critical thinking assessment with guides to complete, which involved behavioral questions about how I'd handle customer scenarios. This took about 45-60 minutes. The second interview involved reviewing my assessment with the interviewer and discussing the answers, learning about Next Insurance's procedures. Following that, the interviewer asked behavioral questions to gauge culture fit in a very informal setting. The interview lasted about an hour and didn't feel rushed. After this, the recruiter, interviewer, and HR team discussed my candidacy. I received an offer, and the next steps were obtaining my state insurance license and getting fingerprinted. Next Insurance provided study materials for the license exam, and I'd be reimbursed for fingerprinting costs after my first day. The whole process from initial contact to offer took me 2 days, and they emphasize communication, providing the recruiter's number for questions.

It was pretty straightforward. Since it was a remote role during COVID, there were two interviews with a lead, followed by one with the hiring manager. I felt I knew more than the lead conducting the interview, so it wasn't exactly tough. I got an offer call the same day I interviewed.
