Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NEXON.
Software Developer
I had a one-on-one technical interview. The questions covered C++, memory concepts, data structures, and Big O time complexity. We discussed C++ STL containers like vector and unordered_map, and the difference between heap and stack memory.
- Can you explain the difference between heap and stack memory?
Software Engineer Intern
Started with an online coding test on data structures and algorithms. Then, I had a 30-minute behavioral chat with an engineer about my past projects and teamwork. The last part was a technical interview where we did system design and debugged some code.
- Can you tell me about a technical challenge you encountered and how you overcame it?
Programmer
The first interview was a technical one where I was asked some simple computer science and C++ graphics questions by one interviewer. After that, I had a culture-fit interview with five interviewers from the team that's currently hiring.
- What problems can arise from using too many or too few threads?
