Round 1 was a coding interview focusing on algorithms to check your problem-solving and coding implementation skills. You'll probably get coding problems about data structures, searching, and sorting. Round 2 was an interview with the leader in the office, focusing on your fit for the role and company. It might be one-on-one or a panel with the team lead or senior members. You'll probably talk about your experience, technical skills beyond algorithms, problem-solving thought process, and interest in the role/company. Be ready for behavioral questions too.

I had a recruiter call, then met the hiring manager in Emeryville which was a long trip without good public transport. I had a nice talk with the hiring manager and he asked good questions, but the role was a bit of a stretch for my skills. A week after that, I had a call scheduled with the recruiter, but she never called. After two follow-up emails, she finally acknowledged me and apologized, but it was a really bad experience. It seems like contract recruiters are hurting the company's image, and I hope Nexon M takes this feedback to heart. All my friends have heard this story about Nexon M, and I hope they start treating candidates with more respect.

The company recruiter contacted me with the job description. First, I had a phone interview with the recruiter. Then, a phone interview with the network managers. Next, an in-person interview with 4 production directors. Finally, a Skype interview with the network managers. During the onsite interview, I learned the position was actually a management role for the Irvine office, even though management experience wasn't mentioned in the job description. I suspect they might have wanted to hire someone with a non-manager title to pay less and still assign management duties.

So I had a call with the recruiter, and then right after that, I spoke with the director and they invited me onsite. Once I got there, I met with 5 different people from different departments. Most of the questions were pretty high-level and conceptual. One person did ask me to do some basic SQL and data manipulation though. Some of the interviews focused heavily on my previous work experience.
