Marketing and Communications Associate
This was the worst hiring process and interview experience I’ve had. The first interview was a one-way video interview, where they ask you 7 questions and you have 1 minute to answer with 0 retakes. It was fine but after the whole process seemed like a pointless/repetitive step. After that, I had an interview with HR which was fine and pretty standard. The last interview was with the hiring manager. The day of my interview, HR called me an hour and a half before & asked if we could push the interview up an hour, basically giving me a 30 minute notice. After agreeing, the hiring manager was 20 minutes late and seemed very uninterested and disengaged during the entire interview. I don’t think she even processed what I was saying. I was told I would hear back within the week & heard nothing. Following my last interview, I had to wait 3 or 4 weeks to even hear back, after following up twice. The entire process took about 2.5/almost 3 months just to be told they’re continuing their search. I respect that, but don’t respect how long it took them to tell me that following my last interview with little to no communication in between.

Project Coordinator
I filled out an application and a few days later got a notification for a one-way virtual interview. Then, two days after that, HR called me for a phone interview. After that, I was invited to a Zoom interview with three people on the panel. It was honestly the worst interview experience ever. They made me keep my camera on the whole time, but none of them did. It felt like a male-dominated interrogation rather than an interview. I didn't get an offer, and honestly, even if I had, I wouldn't have accepted it.

Engineer
Nexius's interview process is kinda traditional and has multiple steps. First, you'll chat with HR to talk about you and your current job situation. Then, you'll interview with the manager(s) you'd be working with. They'll tell you more about the job and ask about your past experiences that fit the role. If that goes well, expect a final interview with upper management. It'll be similar to the manager interview but really important because they decide if they want to hire you. If you get the job, HR will reach out about the offer.

Program Manager
The hiring process was a bit of a drawn-out affair. The recruiter reached out early in the year for a role that wasn't actually available yet. While proactive is good, it left me wondering whether to keep looking elsewhere. Once the position did open up, the interview process was quite straightforward. It basically involved one phone interview and two in-person interviews. These interviews were more about getting to know each other and seeing how we'd work together, rather than intense questioning.
