It was an average difficulty interview. They shortlisted me from university based on my resume and work experience. I had a 30-minute virtual interview where they asked me about my experience, my role in the company, business analytics, and documentation and its specifications.
- Can you tell me about your resume, position, business analytics, and documentation and its specifications?
Business Analyst
There were a total of 3 rounds of interviews, consisting of 2 technical rounds and 1 HR round. The interview difficulty was moderate, with a focus on assessing core domain knowledge. Some scenario-based questions were also included.
- Can you describe the end-to-end lending process?
- What is BRE and explain its functionality?

This recruitment scam at Newgen Noida is crazy. They interview you, select you, and then ghost you. It's like they just want to show off their office or keep HR busy. The HR process here is the absolute worst I've ever seen, and it's hilarious because they sell HR BPM software. I applied for a BA role at their Noida Sector 144 office. After some initial tasks like making a flowchart and writing an email, I had my first face-to-face interview, which lasted about 25 minutes. It was pretty easy to moderate. They told me the feedback was positive and then asked me to take a psychometric test. They said they'd schedule the second interview within the next week because the interviewer wasn't around, and they'd let me know in a day or two. But the HR team is so disorganized, it took them two whole weeks to schedule the next round! And they didn't even bother to communicate this delay, not even to the consultancy, until the very last day. Forget about them responding to emails, calls, or texts. This pattern of poor communication happened after every single step. In total, there were 3 written rounds and 3 interviews: 2 technical (the second one was with a VP/Manager) and a final HR discussion. After each round, I was assured the feedback was positive. Then, they informed the consultancy that I was selected and would get a CTC breakdown. But then, after making me wait for weeks and then another 10 days, they suddenly told the consultancy they wouldn't be offering the job because they suddenly decided my previous experience wasn't relevant. The interviewers are so incompetent and unprofessional; they select you, give you positive feedback, and then wait until the very end to reject you, claiming your experience is irrelevant after the whole process is done. They clearly don't care about our careers or emotions. Looking online, this seems to be a common practice at Newgen Noida Sector 144; it's a pattern, and they've been fooling people for a long time.

- Can you write an email?
- Please complete this psychometric test.
