I applied online and heard back within 2 weeks. The interview process started with a phone chat with a recruiter who reviewed my resume. Next, I had a 2-hour programming test on HackerRank where I had to complete 3 assignments with automated test cases where I could only see if they passed or failed.

I applied online through my school's career site and got an email for a phone screen within a week. The phone screen included some general HR questions and a basic math problem about cell towers. This was followed by a technical test where I had to pick one of three coding questions and submit the code within 24 hours. After passing the coding round, I had a technical phone interview focusing on the team's work, covering C programming, algorithms, probability, and testing. The testing questions were unclear, which might have led to my rejection received within days.

So I had a phone interview first, it was like 20 test questions on stuff like link budget. I did okay and passed. Then a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, they sent a problem, which they said is only for PhD positions. I took a week to get it back to them, and they seemed pretty impressed. The final stage was an onsite interview. It included a presentation where I showed my work, and then a panel interview. The panel asked a lot of technical and behavioral questions. Even though it was tough, the people were super nice.

After applying online, I got a call from HR within a week for a quick 30-minute chat. Then, they had me complete a 2-hour coding challenge with 3 problems on Hacker Rank, which I found easy and passed easily. About a week later, I had a 1-hour conversation with a more senior HR person about the company and my career goals. Following that, I was scheduled for a technical interview with a senior developer the next week. A week after that, I had a 1-hour technical phone interview where I worked on two coding problems in a shared Google doc. Although I didn't solve the first one optimally, we discussed it, and I correctly analyzed its complexity. The interviewer seemed friendly, and the conversation went well. A week later, the initial HR contact informed me that while the interviewer liked me, my skills didn't align with the team's needs, which I found to be brief and unhelpful feedback given my performance on the coding tests and during the interview. I felt my time was wasted and the reason for rejection wasn't clear.
